Fully Qualified to Teach Online

Have at least 6 months experience within the WGU enrollment department, having met or exceeded key performance metrics. A doctorate in a specific content area. Masters in Forensic Psychology emphasis with 3 years or more experience OR Postgraduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology with 3 years or more experience. A terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum of 15 semester or 23 quarter hours of graduate coursework in the discipline.

Have earned a doctorate in the field of study or a closely related field for faculty teaching graduate-level courses. Have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the degree level of the program preferred. Have experience with Learning Management Systems and leveraging technology in learning required. Earned Master's in Nursing MSN and an earned Doctorate preferably in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution, with demonstrated coursework.

Minimum of one year experience of teaching in higher education, preferably in the nurse practitioner fields. A minimum of a master's degree in a related field. A doctorate or terminal degree in the specified content area. Five or more years of experience in the Healthcare Administration industry required.

Five or more years of post-secondary teaching experience is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs required; Two or more years of experience managing faculty is required. Masters in Sociology or Masters in Social Work. PhD or other terminal degree with an emphasis in Information Systems.

Minimum of an earned master's degree in the field of study or closely related field for faculty teaching undergraduate courses; earned doctorate is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of undergraduate teaching experience or an extensive record of relevant professional expertise; teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Current state licensure as a mental health professional. Minimum of three years of experience teaching and mentoring Master's level students, including directing thesis research. Experience teaching, supporting, and providing substantive assessment feedback to graduate students with significant work in business administration; Familiarity with distance education and competency based education preferred but not required. Ability to facilitate groups and meetings in person and remotely. Project management experience, PMP certification preferred.

Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a board-certified advanced nurse practitioner, with or without a population focus. Master of science in nursing MSN. Current Pennsylvania RN licensure. Baccalaureate-level teaching experience preferred. Doctorate in a related discipline.

Doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution aligned with School of Business and Technology Management. Focus in Organizational Leadership strongly preferred; Experience with graduate students; Online teaching experience; Curriculum development experience preferred.

Experience with the online delivery of education and the systems that support it; Proficiency in the use of technology in the delivery of education. Doctorate degree in biology or molecular biology or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. Professional experience in biotechnology industry is highly desired. A Doctorate degree in Composition and Rhetoric is required.

One 1 year experience in collegiate instruction along with the ability to instruct one to three 1 - 3 courses per semester is required. Additional required skills in relational databases and SQL. Minimum of three years of work experience in the field of nursing informatics. Minimum of 3 years of work experience in field related to Health Informatics.

Master's Degree required in a field related to health professions. Three years of work experience in a field related to health professions. Six months of WGU performance evaluation experience is preferred. An advanced, doctorate, or terminal degree in a specific content area.

Requires a terminal degree in a finance-related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. Three 3 years of teaching experience with high student evaluations; Online teaching experience preferred. At least five 5 years of professional and managerial work experience in the field of finance.

Master's degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field; Terminal degree preferred from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent. Must have at least 3 years working in a field of Criminal Justice with emphasis in arson Investigation. Online Instructors require knowledge of online delivery methods, principles and techniques. Minimum Master's Level degree.

Experience teaching in an online format. Commitment to providing responsive instruction and attentive support to online students. Terminal degree in instruction field. Undergraduate or graduate level online teaching experience. Three or more years of online university course design experience or curriculum development; Experience with one or more of the following programs: Teaching experience a plus; Experience in online learning technologies and pedagogies.

Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution is required; terminal degree is preferred.

Earned Doctorate in Public Health from an accredited institution OR an earned doctorate in a closely aligned discipline plus an MPH, both from accredited institutions.

Teaching experience at the graduate-level, including service on thesis or dissertation supervisory committees. Dissertation service is preferred.

Adjunct positions are offered to qualified applicants who live in and are authorized to work in the United States. All instructors teaching in the Nursing programs will be required to provide evidence of an active, encumbered, New Hampshire or Multi-state Compact license prior to course assignments.

Our three-week course is delivered asynchronously, in an online cohort format, using a state-of-the-art learning environment. Online facilitators provide feedback to guide instructors in their acclimation to the SNHU philosophy of fostering student learning, engagement, and success. The time commitment for instructors varies, as candidates come to the course with varying levels of familiarity with using Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, Blackboard or Canvas and varying levels of classroom experience.

Most attendees report that they spend between 7 and 12 hours per week on the course, though some admit that they enjoy the camaraderie within the training and, therefore, spend more time in the discussions. Attending this course is unpaid. Attendees are considered candidates for the role of adjunct instructor until they have successfully met SNHU's expectations for the course, and are added to the teaching roster.

The new course is the final step of the recruitment process, ensuring that all new instructors are technically and pedagogically competent in the classroom, and hold to the SNHU values of guiding and supporting our students' success.

It is required for all new COCE instructors. These opportunities include but are not limited to required training for system and learning resource upgrades and additions.
